Road Trip Snack -You Won't Wanna Travel Without It!

Memorial weekend is almost here and if you are planning a road trip out of town, pack these peanut butter energy bites to snack on en route. They are super easy to throw together and will please all of your crew in the car no matter their age.

Measurements are approximate, so feel free to improvise based on your tastes and what you have on hand.

1/2 cup peanut or almond butter

1/4 cup dark or milk chocolate chips

1/4 cup unsweetened coconut

1/4 cup sliced almonds

2 tbsps. hemp seeds or chia or flax seeds

Dump them in a food processor until blended.

Place the bowl of dough in the fridge for one hour, then roll into bite size balls.

Yum! You might even make a batch to have at home or take on summer picnics!
