Foods that help your skin look fabulous!

Each year as we add candles to the birthday cake, our skin may appear a bit more dull and dry. As we age, our bodies produce less collagen and that’s the stuff that keeps our skin looking plump and supple. Boosting the intake of whole foods can keep our skin looking fresh and flawless.

Protein-rich foods like eggs, fish, soy, poultry and nuts boost the body’s production of elastin and collagen.

Fruits and veggies rich in Vitamin A, like carrots, spinach, sweet potatoes and mangoes help with new cell growth.

Foods like oranges, kiwi, kale, peppers and lemons, that are full of Vitamin C help fight skin-damaging free radicals from sun and pollution.

Of course staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water or eating foods with high water content like melons and lettuce will raise the skin’s beauty factor too.

We spend a lot of cash on creams and serums, but diverting a little of your $$ to the foods you eat, might be just what you need to look and feel healthy!
