Chai Tea (DF,GF)

Chai Tea

Prep time: 15 minutes

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

3-4 black tea or chai tea bags

2 cups milk or milk substitute like almond, coconut or soy milk

1/4 cup honey, or more if preferred

4 slices fresh ginger, peeled

2 cinnamon sticks

1/2 tsp. vanilla

1/4 tsp. ground cardamom

6 whole cloves

dash nutmeg

Instructions:

Simmer all ingredients on the stovetop over low heat in a medium saucepan  for 10 minutes

Remove from stove, remove teabags and strain spices

Drink warm or refrigerate for later
