Fruit and Spice Bonbons (DF/GF)

Fruit and Spice Bonbons

Prep time: 20 minutes

Makes 20 bonbons


2 cups finely chopped dried fruit like mango, cherries, or apricots

3/4 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp allspice

1/8 tsp ginger

cacao powder or superfine granulated sugar or chopped nuts for rolling 

Paper mini muffin cups


In a large mixing bowl, mix the dried fruit and spices with your hands

Roll 1 Tbsp of the mixture into a ball about 1/2 inch in diameter

Repeat until all of the fruit mixture is used

Roll in sugar, nuts or unsweetened cacao powder and place in mini muffin cups

Bonbons can be kept up to one week in airtight container at room temp

These would be a great piece de resistance at a shower or dinner party!
