Pumpkin Spice Latte-low sugar, big flavor

Pumpkin Spice Latte

 Prep time 15 minutes

Serves 1


2 ozs. espresso or 5-6 ozs. strong coffee

2 Tbsps. canned pumpkin puree (not pie filling)

1/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

1/8 tsp. vanilla extract

1 Tbsp. real maple syrup

1 cup non fat milk or any milk substitute like almond or coconut milk


Blend coffee, pumpkin puree, spice, vanilla and maple syrup in a bowl until smooth

Froth the milk or warm it in the microwave or on the stove

Skim off the froth and reserve

Pour the coffee mixture into a mug and add the milk

Top with the milk froth and dust with a sprinkle of nutmeg or pumpkin pie spice
